Meet the Dogs!

Bron.jpg

Bron

Rescued: February 2024
Breed: King Charles Spaniel
Bron joined the farm in February 2024 from Cuba after we lost our beloved Magic. Looking for a senior dog, our vet from Cuba suggested Bron, so he could have a better life with us. He has the best smile - if you can get one out of him.

Jubacca (Chewy)

Arrival:
Breed: Armenian Gampr
Chewy came to us after his breeders closed their business. When he first arrived, he only understood Armenian! He is Pascal's heart dog and you may hear his booming bark when his dad returns home. You can often find him playing with his best friend, Kuba.

Meesha

Rescued: 2016
Breed: Border Collie Mix
Meesha joined the farm in 2016, rescued from a Kijiji ad as a shy, scared dog. "Momma Meesha" is the caretaker of the farm, tending to sick animals, mothering babies and offering cuddles. She's always following Trish or watching over Mikey as he cleans the paddocks. Now 10, she's the heart of the farm.

Denver

Rescued: 2019
Breed: English Bulldog
Denver joined us back in 2019 when her rescue family could no longer keep her. She fit in so well it was clear she belonged. Now almost 9, she loves swimming and her beautiful smile is her trademark - don't be fooled by those teeth, she's a total sweetheart.

Kuba

Rescued:
Breed: Cuban Hot Cake
Kuba is the farm's first Cuban rescue. While visiting Cuba Trish and Pascal met Kuba, who was found 3 months prior starving and covered in mange. She also needed extensive jaw surgery. Now she is always smiling and is a guest favourite.

Zylah

Rescued: Oct 2023
Breed: Chihuahua
Born in Cuba, Zylah's mom was rescued off the streets while pregnant and sick. Out of 3 puppies, Zylah was the only to survive. When Trish saw her face it was instant love. She arrived home Jan 2024 weighing just 800g. She may be small, but she's fierce, funny and incredibly clever.

Meet the Cats!

Bailey_edited.jpg

Bailey

Bailey arrived as a kitten from Pantry Four Paws. She began as a house cat, but her adventurous nature led her to explore the outdoors as well. Now she splits her time indoors and out. She loves greeting people and has the most unique meow.

Merlin.JPG

Merlin

Merlin joined Triple C after one of Pascal's friends could no longer keep him. Intially an indoor cat, he prefers the quieter barn area. At around 16 years old, he stands out among the gray cats with his unique canine teeth. Super friendly and affectionate, Merlin is a wonderful addition.

Scout

Scout is our longest residing barn cat, rescued from a terrible situation by boarders at Triple C. Scout is a trooper extraordinaire. 3 months after his arrival, he was kicked in the head by a horse while playing in hay, and it was uncertain if he would survive. With lots of love, rehab - including finger and tube feeding, and a chiropractor, Scout pulled through. He has survived 2 coyote attacks and is going strong at 11.

Blinky.jpg

Blinky

Blinky, also a Pantry Four Paws rescue, started as an indoor cat but kept to herself. After venturing outside she became more social and now enjoys being around people, especially in the ZenDen and Goat Yoga. She's a guest favourite.

Poutine

Poutine is another Pantry rescue who was found paralyzed and unwell after being dropped off at the vet, likely due to being stepped on. After intensive rehab, including water therapy, she came home to Triple C. You might spot her peering out the door, or in windows, but she rarely comes outside. Opinionated, yet sweet, she perfectly embodies her calico colours.

Timone

Timone came with his brother Pumba. He has one eye smaller than the other and initially struggled to adapt to indoor life. Now he happily resides in the barn with the other barn cats, where he thrives.
